Experience long-lasting hair removal effects with Venus Versa™ Laser Hair Removal.
One Agora Integrative Health specialists know that everyone’s hair is different. That’s why we work with each patient to set up individualized treatment plan to help you reach the look you desire.
Venus Versa™ can be used to reduce the amount of hair on the body, including:
Larger and smaller body areas take less and more time to treat respectfully.
Venus Versa™ Laser Hair Removal utilizes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). The IPL heats the hair follicles deep into your skin, impairing its ability to regrow. It also affects the pigment in the hair follicle, causing the hair to shrink and fall out.
Venus Versa™ is safe and comfortable, thanks to heat-distributing SmartPulse™ technology and the cooling system in the applicator respectfully. You’ll also wear protective eyewear during your appointment.
Plus, there’s no downtime – you can resume your typical skin care routine 24 hours after your appointment. You can wear makeup but place sunscreen beforehand.
We will review your medical history before your appointment. You may be a less-than-ideal candidate for the protocol if you: have lighter hair, have tanned skin, are pregnant, or have diseases that don’t react well to light or heat.
During your treatment, you’ll likely feel a light, rubber-band-like snap against your skin, accompanied by slight, temporary heat.
Your practitioner can adjust the settings of the Venus Versa™ to improve your comfort if need be. Redness afterward is temporary and uncommon.
Your session may last anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the body area(s) treated. To raise the chance of your treatment being successful:
Everyone’s hair grows differently. While you may notice hair loss about 2 weeks after your appointment, you may need anywhere between 6-10 treatments spaced at least 4 weeks apart to see your desired results.
Protocols on the body will be spaced farther apart (up to 8 weeks) than those performed on the face (up to 6 weeks). In between appointments, you may notice slower hair growth that’s also thinner, lighter, and less in quantity.
The longevity of your laser hair removal will also depend on your hair growth, and some patients may need occasional sessions to retain them.
After your protocol:
